Job Description

Hybrid role: Monday & Tuesday in office, remainder of week remote.


Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field


Required Experience and Skills:

• Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation

• Experience with accounting principles and practices, particularly in the entertainment industry

• Understanding of residuals calculations and distribution processes

• Experience with testing software applications in a financial or accounting context


Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Knowledge of Exactuals or similar financial entertainment systems is a plus

• Experience with test automation tools is a preferred


Soft Skills Required:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Business Systems Analyst / Payment System Tester Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of the Exactuals system to ensure accuracy, reliability of payments and compliance with industry regulations.

• Verify the system's ability to accurately calculate and distribute payments, preventing errors.

• Test the system's user interface and functionality to ensure it is user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to navigate for staff.

• Test the system's performance and stability, to ensure it can handle the expected workload and meet business needs.

• Identify and document system defects, errors, or inconsistencies, and work with developers to resolve them.

• Collaborate with the residuals team to understand their requirements and ensure the system meets their needs.

• Report findings to relevant stakeholders.
