Job Title: Oracle EBS WMS & MFG Functional Consultant

Work-Mode: On-site

Location: Lakewood, NY/Whitaker, NC

Job Summary:

The Oracle EBS WMS & MFG Functional Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle EBS WMS and MFG modules. The consultant works closely with business users and technical teams to translate business requirements into system functionality, ensuring the Oracle EBS WMS and MFG modules meet the organization's needs in terms of warehouse and manufacturing operations. The role requires strong functional knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage Oracle implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:

• Engage with business users to understand their warehouse and manufacturing processes, workflows, and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for Oracle EBS WMS & MFG modules.
• Conduct gap analysis between existing processes and Oracle EBS functionalities, suggesting improvements where applicable.

1. Oracle EBS Implementation & Configuration:

• Lead the configuration of Oracle EBS WMS and MFG modules, including defining setups, parameters, and rules.
• Customize the Oracle EBS system as per the specific needs of the organization, particularly in WMS (inventory, shipping, receiving) and MFG (BOM, routing, work-in-progress, quality).
• Ensure that the system is properly integrated with other Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Inventory, Order Management, Finance).

1. Project Management & Solution Design:

• Design end-to-end business processes in Oracle WMS and Manufacturing to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Manage project timelines, tasks, and milestones for implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure custom developments are in line with functional requirements.

1. Testing & Validation:

• Perform system testing, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Oracle WMS and Manufacturing modules.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that the configurations and customizations meet the functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the testing phases and after go-live.

1. Training & Documentation:

• Provide training to end-users on Oracle WMS and MFG modules, ensuring users are comfortable with the functionalities and processes.
• Develop user guides, training materials, and process documentation for system users.

1. Support & Maintenance:

• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and resolving bugs in Oracle WMS and MFG modules.
• Collaborate with Oracle support and internal IT teams to manage incidents and apply patches and upgrades.
• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements to ensure optimal functioning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS WMS & Manufacturing modules implementation and support.
• Strong expertise in Oracle EBS modules: WMS, Inventory, BOM, Routing, Work in Progress (WIP), Quality, and Costing.
• Experience with Oracle EBS R12 and/or Cloud applications is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end warehouse and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
