Our paralegal will support a wide range of client matters, including, trademark clearance and registration, copyright registration, patent prosecution, and IP litigation. This position is full-time remote. Salary is highly competitive, and performance-based bonuses will be available, along with 401K, and healthcare stipend. Open to candidates in Atlanta and the Southeast.

Duties

• Assisting attorneys in the clearance, prosecution, and maintenance of U.S. and foreign trademarks
• Overseeing the firm’s electronic docket and ensuring deadlines are met
• Preparing and distributing client status reports, enforcement reports, and trademark watch reports
• Corresponding with clients regarding updates and follow ups on their case matters
• Filing copyright applications
• Assisting with patent applications
• Assisting attorneys with Office Action responses and related prosecution matters
• Filing pleadings, motions, briefs and related documents with TTAB and U.S. Court CM/ECF system
• Assisting with researching case law
• Assisting with drafting assignments, license agreements, and contracts

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
• 2+ years of solid trademark paralegal experience
• Stellar written and verbal communication skills
• Team player focused on providing elite service to every client
• Polished, professional, and experienced with interfacing with clients
• Positive, can-do, energetic attitude a MUST
• Obsessive attention to detail and expert with organization
