Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive case analyses.
  • Draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Assist with client communication and interviews.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive case analyses.
  • Participate in discovery, including depositions and interrogatories.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings and conferences as needed.
  • Manage assigned casework and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date on current legal developments.


Qualifications:

  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the State of North Carolina (South Carolina license is a plus).
  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
  • A desire to learn and a strong work ethic.
