We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Administrator with one of our clients. This role is be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network systems, troubleshooting issues, implementing security measures, and optimizing network performance.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to support network-related projects and initiatives.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned by Management.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and seven to ten years related experience; or advanced degree and five to ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
