What you’ll do

The Business Psychologist will consult with and provide thought partnership to HR Leadership and other Senior Executives (VP through C-suite) around Assessment strategy, usage and implementation for all divisions globally.


Main responsibilities include:

  • Act as key member of the design and execution team for any existing or new assessment tool-related pilot studies
  • Share responsibility for the governance, oversight, quality control and development of the psychologically related assessment services
  • Oversee the ongoing collection and analysis of job performance and psychological assessment data, playing a key role in exploring predictive indicators of leadership, job effectiveness and career progression
  • Conduct and debrief Pre-Hire and Post-Hire Leadership Development Assessments
  • Participate in the training and up-skilling of HR and Executive Development partners on assessment usage and interpretation for sound management decision making.
  • Manage external Business Psychologists in the US, as well as partner and act as an in-house consultant to Business Psychologists in other global divisions.


This position will follow our hybrid model of 2 days a week in the office and is based at our Framingham, MA campus.


Who We Are Looking For: You.

A highly motivated and talented Business Psychologist who will play a pivotal role in shaping our assessment strategies.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in industrial or organizational psychology
  • 10+ years of experience leading assessments in the Human Resources, Learning / Executive Development space
  • Expertise in one or more of the following: Talent Assessment, Talent Management, 360 Feedback, Team Development, Leadership Development, and Performance Management Models
  • Executive presence and confidently engages with senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Consistent track record of building and maintaining strong, collaborative business relationships and positively influencing at all levels
  • Strong business insight, fully understands the simplicity and complexity of the TJX business model
  • Excellent consulting and coaching skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify trends, themes, and gaps across multiple areas to diagnose and propose solutions
  • Proficient in navigating ambiguous situations with confidence and clarity, offering additional perspective


Preferred Requirements:

  • Certification as a Business or Executive Coach.

This position has a starting salary range of $124,800 to $162,200 per year.


Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.


This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
