Golang Developer

Position: Golang Developer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid - On-site twice a week)

Employment Type: Long-term contract

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Go-based applications and software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and architect software systems
• Utilize concurrency, interfaces, and other object-oriented programming principles in Go development
• Implement and maintain web applications using Go frameworks such as Gin or Echo
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Integrate Go applications with databases and external APIs
• Leverage containerization technologies like Docker for application deployment and management
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders
• Stay updated on emerging Go technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Go programming language
• Experience with web development using Go frameworks (e.g., Gin, Echo)
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and API integration
• Understanding of containerization concepts and tools (e.g., Docker)
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
