Our client, a leading provider of claims and risk management solutions dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services is in search of a Director of Operations.

The Director of Operations will oversee the daily operations of the claims and risk management company. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective operational processes, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the claims and risk management practices specifically in the healthcare industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the production, processing, and distribution of clams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation processes to ensure the safety and sustainability of operations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operations managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to align operational activities with business objectives.
  • Ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports related to operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have good understanding of Workers Comp & GL Claims
  • Must have experience in growing a company
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.


Compensation:

  • Commensurate with experience
  • Base Salary, discretionary bonus, health benefits
