Proj is based on legacy apps being modernized

This is a data migration project. Data migration, data querying, reporting and ETL work will be required.

Angular / Python / PySpark is not needed currently it will be used in the future. These skills are highly preferred

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience engineering awesome solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience working in modernized development teams.
  • Knowledge and experience in designing for and implementing solutions in the cloud (AWS). This can range from custom code on IaaS/PaaS to SaaS solution integrations.
  • Good communication skills. The incumbent will be responsible for interfacing with the business lines as well as others across IT.
  • Languages: Java, Angular, node.js, Python/PySpark
  • Modern Tools: Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git
  • DBs: PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB
  • Platforms: Cloud AWS, Unix/Linux

Tools: Informatica, SAS, Shell Scripting, EKS, Docker, OpenShift, Apache Spark/Amazon Kinesis
