Job Summary

The Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of business operations for a new software launch. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Technical Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the rollout of new software launch and all aspects of business operations including finance and administration  
  • Responsible for overview of all business or tech related projects from start to completion 
  • Coordinate with developers on software development and continuous improvement 
  • Manage the software development life cycle 
  • Manage the volume of workflow and administrative tasks or projects 
  • Collaborate with accounting department to coordinate business financials 
  • Maintain business records and organize crucial documents 
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on project proposals and future projects 
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. 
  • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline. 
  • Analyze economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and return-on-investment standards. 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation. 
  • Other duties assigned as needed at the discretion of management 


Required skills/Abilities: 

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in financial or technical project management, financial administration, business operations or related role 
  •  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  •  Expertise with technology and financial administration
  • Proven working experience in project management in the financial information technology sector  
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools 
  • Extensive knowledge of technology and/or software development 
  • Knowledge of financial administration and general accounting practices 
  • Superior project management and time management skills 
  • Ability to meet crucial deadlines and execute project plans in a timely manner 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
