Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Solar Electrician at Kansas Solar Systems located in Lawrence, KS. The Solar Electrician will be primarily responsible for the electrical installation of residential and commercial solar systems, they will also assist with the installation of solar panels and other construction duties as needed. They will work with the Solar Installers and Crew Foreman to ensure a quality installation and excellent customer service to clients. 

Solar Electricians build skills across a variety of construction trades and are encouraged to pursue NABCEP accreditation.

 

Qualifications

  • Must have passed Electrical Journeyman test and hold a Journeyman license in KS, must be willing to take additional tests if required for different jurisdictions.
  • OSHA 10 construction.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy equipment or tools.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
  • Ability to work in all weather, cold or heat, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Knowledge of solar panel installation and maintenance is a plus.
  • Certifications in CPR, or First Aid are a plus.
  • NABCEP accreditation is a plus.                                      
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Pay

·        Pay starting at $28/Hr.

·        Pay review after 90 days.
