Job Title: Oracle ERP Cloud Consultant (Project Portfolio Management)

Qualifications:

  • Extensive Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience as an Oracle ERP Cloud Consultant specializing in Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
  • Key Areas of Expertise:
  • Planning, Scheduling, and Forecasting.
  • Cost Management and Control.
  • Billing and Revenue Management.
  • Grant Management.
  • Resource Management.
  • Requirements Gathering and System Design: Proven experience conducting requirement-gathering sessions, system design, and system integration activities.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on proposing practical, effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, gather requirements, and deliver effective training sessions.
  • Oracle Cloud Migration/Upgrade: Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud upgrades or migration projects.
  • Technical Skills: Working experience with REST APIs and Webservices is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Oracle PPM Implementation:
  • Lead the implementation of Oracle PPM modules, with a primary focus on Grant Management, Project Costing, and Resource Management.
  • Collaborate with the client and implementation partners to ensure alignment with business needs, specifically for the Capital Project Accounting system.
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough requirements-gathering sessions to identify business objectives, process improvements, and system integration needs.
  • Document requirements and develop a comprehensive solution design aligned with best practices.
  • System Configuration:
  • Configure Oracle PPM modules according to the business needs, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • System Integration:
  • Work with technical teams to integrate Oracle PPM modules seamlessly with other Oracle Fusion modules and enterprise systems, including HRMS, Financials, and Procurement Contracts.
  • Ensure the integration supports fund accounting functionality within Oracle ERP.
  • Testing and Validation:
  • Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate the system’s functionality, performance, and accuracy.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues, and ensure resolutions.
  • User Training & Support:
  • Conduct end-user training sessions to enhance the effective use of Oracle PPM modules.
  • Provide ongoing support, addressing user queries and resolving system issues as needed.
  • Industry Best Practices:
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and regulatory requirements in project accounting, purchasing, contracts, and sourcing.
  • Ensure that solutions adhere to the best practices in Oracle PPM implementation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Migrations or upgrades.
  • Experience with REST API and Webservice integration for Oracle systems.
