Our client is seeking a Collections Specialist for a contract opportunity in Meriden, CT.


Contract Duration: 3 Months (extension likely)

Required Skills & Experience


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Intermediate MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word skills, as well as general computer knowledge.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills and the ability to effectively deal with all levels of the organization and outside vendors.
  • Must be very detail oriented, be able to handle multiple projects at once and be capable of solving complex problems with help from the team.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment independently, with little or no supervision and under tight and demanding deadlines.
  • 2-3 years related collections experience.


  • What You Will Be Doing

Reconcile invoices and ensure the accuracy of all charges and collections.

  • Assist in achieving and maintaining corporate mandated goals with respect to AR metrics.
  • Build and maintain solid work relationships with all levels of staff and management.
  • Resolve AR issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure reconciliations are completed on all projects on a monthly basis.
  • Interface with all stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues to ensure invoices are received within the appropriate timeframe.
