Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, conducting economic research, analyzing trends, and contributing to strategic financial planning. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in forecasting, budget management, and providing insightful recommendations to support decision-making across various business units.
Responsibilities:
- Perform economic research and studies on return rates, depreciation, and investments.
- Analyze profit-and-loss income statements and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for senior management.
- Develop financial forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance, and other business areas.
- Assist in financial planning by researching economic progressions and their impact on company strategy.
- Monitor progress against strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Lead and document process changes related to system upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions for the finance team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, maintaining clear communication and facilitating seamless financial processes.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills and tools like Tableau and Power BI to analyze data and improve reporting efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, business planning, or similar roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; knowledge of Tableau and Power BI is preferred.
- Experience working with new systems and process integration, with the ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to change.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and self-starting attitude.
- CMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or ACMA certifications are preferred but not required.
Desired Experience:
- Proven track record of supporting financial planning and business operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with documenting and implementing process changes due to system upgrades.
