Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner/Business Analyst to lead the implementation of a new Enterprise Record Management System (RMS) for a local government municipality . This is a pivotal role that will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the government municipality's operations.


Location: Daytona Beach, FL (onsite)

Work: 6 month Contract to Hire

Benefits: Once transitioned to client payroll, 28 days PTO with full medical coverage.


Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Oversee the entire RMS implementation project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct thorough business analysis to identify the government municipality's specific needs and requirements for the RMS software.
  • Solution Selection: Evaluate and recommend a suitable RMS solution, considering factors such as functionality, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implementation Planning: Develop a detailed implementation plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Liaison: Serve as a liaison between the government municipalities' IT department, vendor, and the business units.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of RMS softwares and their capabilities.
  • Change Management: Assist in managing organizational change associated with the adoption of the new RMS software.


Project Goals

  • Successfully implement a new Enterprise RMS software that meets the government municipality's specific needs.
  • Demonstrate the value and benefits of the RMS software to the organization.
  • Establish a foundation for a long-term partnership with the vendor.
  • Create a sustainable and scalable RMS infrastructure that supports the government municipality's future growth and development.
