Position Overview:


The Licensed Residential HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects within a designated area or region. This role involves leading a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, managing project timelines and budgets, and maintaining high-quality service delivery to residential clients.


Key Responsibilities:


Team Leadership:

-Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of licensed HVAC technicians.

-Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members perform effectively and efficiently.

-Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Project Management:

-Plan, organize, and prioritize HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects according to client needs and company objectives.

-Coordinate scheduling of technicians, equipment, and materials to meet project deadlines and budgets.

-Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project completion.


Compliance and Quality Assurance:

-Ensure all HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance activities comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.

-Conduct regular quality inspections to verify workmanship and adherence to specifications.

-Address any non-compliance issues promptly and implement measures to prevent recurrence.


Customer Service:

-Serve as a primary point of contact for residential clients, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

-Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling HVAC products and services.


Technical Expertise:

-Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in residential HVAC systems.

-Provide technical support and guidance to technicians on complex installation, troubleshooting, and repair tasks.

-Continuously assess and improve technical skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.


Documentation and Reporting:

-Maintain accurate records of project details, including work orders, invoices, and equipment specifications.

-Prepare regular reports on project status, budget variances, resource utilization, and customer feedback for management review.


Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in HVAC technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field (preferred).


-Valid NC HVAC contractor license or certification required.


-Proven experience (5+ years) in residential HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.


-Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


-Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.


-Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and software.


-Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required


-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
