Position Description:

The Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager ensures that all required environmental reports are submitted to the appropriate regulatory agency and provides guidance in developing, implementing, and documenting required HSE training for site personnel. They act as a liaison with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies on matters relating to safety and environmental regulatory compliance and is a resource for interpretation of OSHA and EPA regulations. They will be responsible for managing and maintaining site emergency response programs and business continuity plans, manage employee health programs and worker’s compensation for the plant, and will also manage site security programs and initiatives.

Requirements:

Candidates for this role should have a four-year degree and experience managing safety systems and training personnel on health, safety and environmental aspects. Candidates should have a technical background for this role. Candidates should have strong people management skills as well as computer skills.

Location: Lexington, KY

Shift: M-F normal daytime hours

Compensation: $100-$125k + 10% annual bonus
