Recognizing this need, we at Lakeland Regional Health have devoted ourselves in creating the best mental health facilities possible. We are dedicated to improving outcomes and helping people get well. From helping children and parents survive divorce, to treating depression, our licensed clinical staff provides a team approach to care. Under the direction of a board-certified psychiatrist, our mental health facilities provide in- and out-patient care to adults at all levels of mental health severity. Under the direction of our board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, we also provide services to adolescents who require mental health treatment. Work Hours per Biweekly Pay Period: 80

Position Summary

Summary:

Lakeland Regional Health seeks a dynamic and experienced Outpatient Behavioral Health Operations Manager to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our outpatient behavioral health services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. You will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflow processes, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.


Key responsibilities include supervising clinical and administrative staff, developing and implementing operational policies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Your expertise in budget management, staff development, and provider schedule utilization will be essential in promoting the growth and success of our programs.

Interfaces with patients and families to ensure that care meets their expectations. Ensure high-quality treatment services are being provided to all individuals served.

- The operations manager will also be proficient in using all available technologies to maximize the analysis and performance of the ambulatory department.

- Demonstrates responsible use of LRH's resources, including people, finances, equipment, and facilities.

- Assist with process improvement efforts, including but not limited to patient access, patient scheduling, standard work, appropriate staff utilization, employee engagement, and customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Essential:

* Master Degree

Education equivalent experience:

Essential:

* Master’s level or higher degree in: Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or similar degree. Master’s Degree in healthcare administration or a related field will be considered if the candidate has experience managing a behavioral health clinic.

Other information:

Experience Essential:

- At least three years of management experience required in behavioral health.


Experience Preferred:

- Five to seven years of experience in clinical/operations management experience preferred.

- Healthcare revenue cycle for professional services

- Budget and data analysis

- At least three years in providing direct patient care.

- Experience working with Epic EHR.


Certification Essential:

- Must pass level 2 FDLE background screening.
