Avie is looking for a Sales Director who will lead and manage the sales efforts targeting insurance clients. You will drive sales growth, achieve revenue targets, and expand market share in the insurance sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and implement sales plans with a strategic focus to meet company sales targets and expand market share within the insurance industry.
  • Lead, manage, and provide guidance to a team of sales professionals specializing in insurance sales, fostering their development through coaching, training, and performance management to enhance sales effectiveness and productivity.
  • Foster and nurture strong relationships with key insurance clients, including insurance companies, brokers, and agents, to generate business opportunities and increase the volume of insurance product sales.
  • Keep abreast of insurance market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to develop innovative sales strategies and tailored insurance product offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to devise and execute impactful sales and promotional campaigns targeting prospective insurance clients.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, conduct data analysis, and generate comprehensive reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and enhance conversion rates in the insurance sales process.
  • Stay updated on insurance industry developments, regulations, and market conditions, providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated history of achieving exceptional results in insurance sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the insurance sales field.
  • Deep understanding of the insurance industry, including product knowledge, client needs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities and adeptness in team management, inspiring and motivating insurance sales teams to reach and surpass targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering the establishment and maintenance of relationships with insurance clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving prowess, enabling the development of innovative sales strategies specific to the insurance market and the ability to overcome challenges.
  • Analytical mindset, with a high level of proficiency in analyzing insurance sales data, identifying trends, and utilizing data-driven insights to optimize sales performance in the insurance sector.
