The IT Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day technical operations. Ensuring the organization’s technological systems and infrastructure operate effectively and efficiently. This includes providing technical support, implementing, and maintaining IT policies and procedures. Responsible for maintaining and improving the company's ERP software systems, including but not limited to SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics; with high experience in systems analysis, programming, and implementation, as well as a working knowledge of SAP/ERP functionalities.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity of and accuracy of the ERP Systems.
  • Support with SAP/ERP systems and related software installation, configuration, and upgrades.
  • Develop custom programs and applications to meet user requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in SAP/ERP software.
  • Monitor SAP/ERP software functionalities.
  • Ensure company data security and protection within the SAP/ERP systems.
  • Work closely with headquarters and other IT engineers to plan, execute, and finalize systems and projects to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in SAP/ERP systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and team members.
  • Collaborate with all departments to understand their technological needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and storage systems in coordination with headquarters.
  • Ensure that hardware and software components are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and compliance requirements and ensure the IT department adheres to them.
  • Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures, and documentation to ensure a standardized approach to IT operations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service provides to ensure the procurement of necessary IT Equipment and Services.
  • In a timely manner, respond to user requests by providing first level technical and functional support including ERP system, cloud-based applications, the MS Office Suite of applications, the Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems, and computer and peripheral components.
  • Serve as escalation point for IT troubleshooting, including laptop repairs, email and mobile device support, conference room setup, hardware and networking equipment diagnostics, and software and applications support.
  • Implement and enforce network hardening measures to protect against potential cyber threats and reinforce data protection.
  • As needed, conduct training sessions on software applications and new operational procedures to improve efficiencies.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience with SAP/ERP systems administration, programming, and management.
  • Strong knowledge of various SAP/ERP modules, including finance, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Experience in creating and modifying SAP/ERP reports using tools such as Crystal Reports, BIRT, and SAP Business Objects
  • Adept at programming languages such as ABAP, SQL, and Java
  • Good understanding of database management, with experience in SQL Server, Oracle, or MYSQL.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving skills, and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of non-technical components, both internal and external.
  • Ability to work creatively and efficiently in a dynamic team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • The ability to work with components constantly along a production line without adverse effects.
  • The ability to make timely decisions and provide feedback to each other.
  • Have a strong desire for personal and professional development.
  • Bilingual.
