One of our clients is seeking an AutoCAD designer with experience to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for drafting and manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn and grow within the company. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment while contributing to the development of innovative products.


Responsibilities:


  1. Assist sales, estimators, and engineers in creating detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing processes and products using AutoCAD software.
  2. Review and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications provided by engineers and designers.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawings.
  4. Make revisions to drawings as necessary based on feedback from senior team members or changes in project requirements.
  5. Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements and optimization.
  6. Adhere to company standards and procedures for drafting and documentation.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting technology and software.


Requirements:


  1. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or related field is preferred.
  2. Proficiency in AutoCAD software with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in drafting.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  4. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus
  5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  7. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software tools.
  9. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.


Salary is $60k–$70k | Full-time work on site; no hybrid option.
