POSITION SUMMARY

The Leasing Associate is responsible and accountable for the occupancy metrics of the property. They manage the lead pipeline of prospective residents from the leads generated up to the conversion and the application and leases.

The ideal candidate will be one who has relevant experience and can step into the role on day one, enjoys a challenge, has a track record of great customer service skills, and is an individual inspired by setting goals and then achieving them.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides all prospective residents tours and move-in inspections
  • Ensures the unit is ready for occupancy
  • Maintains waitlists in accordance with the tenant selection plan
  • Ensures application and certification accuracy in conjunction with the compliance associate
  • Leads and coordinates all new resident lease signings
  • Ensures files are in compliance with all HUD, CHFA, and investor requirements and guidelines
  • Maintains property occupancy of 95% or above
  • Other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to efficiently perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate
  • Follow Archway’s COVID protocols
  • Ability to regularly tour and inspect the property grounds and units

QUALIFICATIONS

A. Experience:

  • Two or more years of leasing or property management experience. Professional training may substitute for experience.
  • Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and/or other affordable housing programs
  • Experience with OneSite or similar property management software program

B. Personal Characteristics:

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and sales skills, a must
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus

COMPENSATION

The pay range for this role is $22 – $24 hourly depending on experience and skill sets.
