Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced E-Commerce Merchandising Manager at Wrist Aficionado's headquarters in New York, New York. The E-Commerce Merchandising Manager will be responsible for developing and executing merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance the customer experience on our e-commerce platform. This role will collaborate closely with various teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure that our product offerings are optimized and aligned with our business goals. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN WATCH MERCHANDISING AND HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF WATCHES.
Key Responsibilities:
Merchandising Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive merchandising strategies to meet sales goals and enhance customer experience.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape to inform merchandising decisions.
- Create seasonal and promotional plans to drive traffic, conversion, and sales.
Inventory Management
- Manage the online product catalog, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Optimize product assortment based on performance metrics and customer feedback.
- Familiarity with product search and filter merchandising tools is required.
Site Merchandising
- Design and execute site merchandising plans, including homepage updates, category pages, and product listings.
- Implement merchandising tactics such as upselling, cross-selling, and bundling to increase average order value.
- Ensure consistency in product presentation and branding across the e-commerce site.
Performance Analysis
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of merchandising strategies.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance and inventory levels.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to merchandising plans.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with marketing to align merchandising strategies with promotional campaigns and content.
- Work with the supply chain team to ensure inventory availability and optimize stock levels.
- Communicate merchandising plans and results to stakeholders, including senior management.
Client Experience
- Focus on improving the customer journey by ensuring an intuitive and engaging shopping experience.
- Stay up-to-date with e-commerce best practices and industry trends to enhance site functionality and usability.
- Implement customer feedback and reviews into merchandising decisions to meet customer needs and preferences.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of previous work experience with e-commerce watch merchandising
- Knowledge of timepieces
- Excellent understanding of e-commerce platforms, CMS (Shopify), and merchandising tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including by email
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Polished and professional appearance with a positive attitude

- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
