Overview: As a Licensed Aesthetician, you are responsible for delivering exceptional skincare and beauty treatments to our clients, utilizing your expertise to enhance their overall well-being. Our Licensed Aestheticians should possess a strong background in medical aesthetics, a commitment to providing personalized services, and a passion for staying abreast of industry trends.
Responsibilities:
- Skincare Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their skincare needs, medical history, and treatment goals.
- Customized Treatment Plans: Develop personalized skincare treatment plans based on individual client assessments, incorporating medical-grade products and procedures to achieve optimal results.
- Aesthetic Procedures: Perform a range of advanced aesthetic procedures, including but not limited to facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, and other non-invasive treatments.
- Collaboration with Medical Professionals: Collaborate with our medical team to ensure seamless integration of medical and aesthetic services, providing a holistic approach to skincare.
- Product Knowledge and Sales: Stay informed about the latest skincare products and technologies, and educate clients on proper at-home skincare routines. Recommend and sell medical-grade skincare products as appropriate.
- Client Education: Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care, potential side effects, and realistic expectations for various aesthetic procedures.
- Maintain Cleanliness and Safety: Adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and sterile environment for all treatments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and post-treatment follow-ups.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with medical spa protocols.
- Payment Handling: Process client payments, issue receipts, and ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Product Sales: Assist clients with product inquiries, provide information on skincare products and services, and facilitate product sales.
Other Tasks as Needed:
- Assist the Front Office Staff
- General office cleaning, including restrooms
- Update, verify, organize and count inventory of retail items
- Other miscellaneous tasks as requested by management
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Indiana license as an aesthetician.
- Proven experience in a medical spa or dermatology setting with a focus on advanced skincare treatments.
- Additional certifications in advanced aesthetic procedures (e.g., laser therapy, chemical peels) are highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively explain complex procedures and skincare regimens to clients.
- Strong customer service orientation, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for clients.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
