Our company has recently been awarded a large, multi-year project that will require a full-time staff engineer located at the project site.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist with project management, and team member coordination
  • Assist in coordinating and the completion of field construction quality control programs, quality assurance, and code compliance activities
  • Manage project plans, submittals, and RFIs for relevant team members
  • Track and organize field and laboratory quality documentation
  • Manage Daily staffing coordination between field and office personnel as well as subcontractors
  • Maintain and communicate project schedule to assure timely assignment of personnel to tasks and Inspection Requests (IR’s)
  • Process reports & upload documents to Procore and Project Inertia document control sites and construction management software programs
  • Assist in maintaining project NCR and RFI tracking and related follow up
  • Provide support to engineering and construction team related to daily work assignments, attend project meetings, and maintain follow-up correspondence
  • Back up support to other team members
  • Additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor in support of field operations


CORE QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field required
  • Familiarity with HCAI, DSA, and California Building Code requirements preferred
  • Self-starter with strong resilience, hardworking, focused, with a high level of initiative
  • Detail oriented with solid organizational and priority management skills
  • Strong organizational and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software
  • Familiarity with construction management software programs
  • Ability to work under pressure while meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
  • Must contribute to a positive team-based work environment
  • Provide administrative support to team leaders and project managers and resolve team-level conflicts
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and professionally respond to questions from clients
