Inside Sales Representative Qualifications:

  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes and returns
  • Maintain the customer database by inputting customer profile and updates
  • Enter and maintain customer orders within the Inventory Management System including order fulfillment dates that comply with production schedule
  • Following a sale, contact customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales staff for further development and closure
  • Monitor Orders.US and Info.US email boxes. Handle or route emails to appropriate colleague/department
  • Complete administrative updates for the CRM system
  • Resolve pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular/special prices, forward resolution to managers.
  • Provide support for the advertising and marketing function of the company
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional partners (services, marketing, production, etc.) to ensure responsiveness to customer requests
  • Administer sales activities tracking systems
  • Monitor email and respond to customers in a timely manner with the requested information
  • Assist with promoting sales training, booking hotel accommodations, arranging luncheons, coordinating travel and other administrative functions
  • Provide support, as needed, to the Director of Operations and Operations & Sales teams
  • Demonstrate an aptitude of selling products that are software driven
  • Receive incoming phone calls and guide them to the proper person or department
  • Assist with planning and organizing company events
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Director
