Job Title: Quality Assurance- Food Science



Summary: The Quality Assurance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the overall quality and food safety of products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF or other regulatory agencies.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-operational and operational inspections and document findings.
  • Communicate foreign object discoveries, provide root cause identification, and implement corrective action measures.
  • Inspect returned goods, document findings, and provide disposition.
  • Perform shelf-life testing and assist in sampling collection.
  • Provide chemically lean testing results and fat testing.
  • Execute ATP environmental swabbing in the facility (both food contact and non-food contact surfaces).


Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  • SQF or HACCP Certified preferred.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
