Role

The Sales Development role is constantly evolving. Engage is looking for an energetic, creative, ambitious, and data-driven individual to play a key role in generating pipeline and setting up qualified opportunities for our sales team. This role is about hunting, research, relevance, storytelling, personalization, and bringing value to the customer. This is a full-time and on-site position in idyllic Aptos, California.  


The Sales Development Representative holds ultimate responsibility for the team’s pipeline success. The role requires building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, generating sales leads, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.


We need someone who is confident and decisive, but also humble, empathetic and open-minded. Someone who prioritizes intentionality and quality, and who can balance thinking strategically while also developing and executing on the tactics. 


What We Look For

  • A minimum of 1 year selling a technical product, with a proven track record of exceeding goals
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Telecom/networking or security experience is a big plus
  • Strong Salesforce skills and other sales enablement tools (i.e. Sales Navigator)
  • Passion and curiosity around technology with an ability to comprehend and articulate value points to customers
  • Growth mindset, leading by example and proactively bringing solutions to challenges you identify
