Sampson Regional Medical Center (SampsonRMC) is an independent, community-based hospital located in Clinton, NC. Established in 1950, SampsonRMC is one of the few remaining independent hospitals in North Carolina. SampsonRMC offers a wide range of medical services including acute care, outpatient surgery, emergency and critical care, women’s health, and children’s services. SampsonRMC also serves as an academic training center for medical students, interns, and residents.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CT Technologist at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans on patients, ensuring proper radiation safety protocols are followed, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results. The role also involves maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment, preparing and positioning patients for scans, and documenting patient data.


Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in (R) and (CT)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Radiologic Technology and Radiology
  • Expertise in Radiation Safety and adherence to safety protocols
  • Understanding of medical terminology and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately document patient information


Hours

Monday - Friday with rotating weekends. May work additional hours for the effective operation of department.
