Delivery Role:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive migration plans for SQL Server databases, including assessments, data mapping, and cutover strategies
  • Oversee the physical movement of SQL Server instances to new data centers, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
  • Configure and optimize network, storage, and compute resources in the new data center to support SQL Server workloads
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and application compatibility in the new environment.
  • Strong Database Administration experience
  • Skilled SQL Server Admin with a proven track record in managing and optimizing clustered SQL Server environments
  • Proficiency in using data migration tools like SSIS, SSMA, or third-party solutions
  • Proficiency in T-SQL and PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency during migration.
