The Superintendent Role:

As a Superintendent specializing in Heavy Civil projects, you will oversee, plan, and execute multiple construction projects, each valued up to $40M+. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage and coordinate teams, liaise with senior management and clients, and provide regular updates on project progress.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple ongoing projects in the Heavy Civil Site construction sector, including Site Work, Excavating, Earthwork, Utility, Highway, and Concrete work.
  • Interface effectively with clients and executive management, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Organize and distribute construction documentation, including plans, specifications, RFIs, blueprints, and field reports, to all project team members.
  • Participate in weekly and/or monthly meetings with customers and clients, providing progress updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction, with a strong track record of managing similar projects.
  • Experience in site work and heavy earthwork.
  • Strong communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
