Title: Transmission & Interconnection Engineer

Salary: $160,000


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the interconnection process for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, from feasibility analysis and application submission to managing studies, agreements, construction milestones, and tracking payments.
  • Identify optimal interconnection points through market research and technical analysis, and review and validate study results.
  • Collaborate with teams such as Land Acquisition, Engineering, Permitting, and Operations to develop a strong project pipeline and support project acquisition activities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends by participating in RTO/ISO forums and updating executive management.
  • Manage the activities of consultants, service providers, and project accounts.


Requirments:

  • 3+ years in Power Systems and Interconnection Studies
  • Strong Knowledge of Renewable Energy projects
  • Experience with PSSE/TARA
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
