Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Hybrid - Bridgman and St. Jospeh, MI

Salary: $90k-$115k + Relocation $$

What You Will Be Doing

  • Interface with Mechanical and Electrical teams, develop robust and efficient program designs
  • Assist electricians in debugging machine wiring
  • Write PLC programs for newly developed machines
  • Troubleshoot and Debug powered on machines, verify mechanical and programming functionality meets customers requirements and our high standards of quality
  • Work with customers in weekly meetings- detail progress, answer questions

What You Need for this Position

  • 3+ Years Industrial PLC programming
  • Proficient in Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs
  • Ability to read electrical schematics/diagrams
  • Able to develop PLC programs from scratch
  • Understanding of custom industrial machine design
  • Reliable transportation, ability to travel (up to 25%- ability to travel within US and internationally)
