Conflicts Analyst

LHH is working with a top law firm in Century City, Ca to find an experience conflicts analyst to join their team. This is a hybrid 3 days in, 2 days from home position.
Job Summary:
The Conflicts Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to firm policies by meticulously reviewing incoming new business intake requests for potential conflicts of interest. This entails thorough analysis, research, and collaboration with various stakeholders within the firm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed and precise conflicts searches using Elite 3E, offering insightful analysis and evaluation of conflict check reports.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and their assistants to gather accurate information essential for conflict searches, and to identify and address potential conflict issues.
- Analyze conflict reports, propose viable resolutions, and deliver concise summaries outlining necessary steps for conflict resolution.
- Work collaboratively with the Conflicts/Intake team to review attorney responses, recommend resolutions, and provide clear summaries for conflict resolution procedures.
- Conduct research on prospective clients and other relevant parties through diverse electronic databases and internet sources to ensure data integrity for accurate conflicts analysis.
- Assist in various projects and initiatives, such as those related to lateral hires and the implementation of ethical walls.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Required: 3+ years of experience in conflicts with a law firm
Compensation:
- Salary based on experience, within the range of $70,000 to $105,000.
