We're assisting our client in their search for an experienced Plant Manager to lead daily operations and processes on the production floor. Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, and overseeing day-to-day operations, enhancing production output, controlling costs, and maintaining quality standards. You will ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and on-time shipping.


Candidates MUST HAVE previous leadership experience in the hosiery industry to be considered for this position.


Location: Conover, NC

Salary Range: $100-$140k/year (depending on experience) + bonus potential


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily plant operations and ensure facility safety and efficiency.
  • Lead day-to-day activities to exceed customer expectations, manage quality standards, and monitor performance.
  • Manage budgets, labor, inventory, and resources.
  • Ensure staff are properly trained and equipped.
  • Collaborate with HR and company leaders on production, maintenance, and personnel issues.
  • Foster a transparent and positive work environment.
  • Demonstrate and enforce values of integrity, hard work, and teamwork.
  • Implement cost-effective solutions and supervise projects.
  • Develop a well-trained and motivated staff.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in Operations Management in manufacturing, hosiery experience required.
  • Proven ability to enhance quality and operational efficiencies.
  • High integrity and strong ethical standards.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communicator and team player, capable of leading and motivating teams.
  • Skilled in financial analysis and customer service principles.
  • Motivated change agent with a collaborative approach to leadership.
