Job Description:

Blend is seeking a highly skilled SAS Developer to join our team on a hybrid basis in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data modeling, expert-level SAS coding, SQL queries, and data analysis, particularly with financial datasets. This is a 12+ month contract position, offering a competitive hourly rate between $50 and $65.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Modeling: Design and implement robust data models to support various analytical and operational needs.
  • SAS Coding: Develop and maintain complex SAS programs to analyze and report data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • SQL Queries: Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
  • Data Analysis: Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.
  • Financial Datasets: Handle and analyze large financial datasets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data modeling, SAS coding, and SQL queries.
  • Proven expertise in data analysis, particularly with financial datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with financial industry standards and practices.

Working Conditions:

  • This role is based in Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid work schedule.
  • Candidates must be able to commute to the office as required.
