Job Description

We are seeks an experienced and dedicated Billing and Collections Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the Billing and Collections Department for a Home Infusion company, with Home Health experience being a plus. This role requires a strong background in billing and collections processes, software proficiency, and a proven track record of implementing and managing process improvements. Position is eligible for bonus after probationary period.

Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. (position is exempt)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the billing and collections operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims and payments.
  • Utilize software such as Waystar, Change Healthcare, Office Ally, and CareTend to manage billing and collections.
  • Implement and manage process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in billing and collections.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for staff to ensure compliance with billing and collections procedures.
  • Establish and monitor OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure and improve team performance.
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) reviews to maintain high standards of billing and collections practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and collections issues and improve overall workflow.
  • Attendance and reliability (availability and follow through) are a must as the Manager must lead by example.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of reimbursement management experience (at the Manager or above level) with a Home Infusion company; Home Health experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Waystar, Change Healthcare, Office Ally, and CareTen software.
  • Strong experience in implementing and managing process improvements, training programs, OKRs, KPIs, and QA processes.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
