EA to CEO

Overview:
The ideal candidate for this position must have experience in a start-up, fast-moving environment. They will excel if they can keep their calm in a high pressure environments, coordinating and assisting with setting priorities and logistics for the company's CEO. In addition to being a pro at traditional EA tasks (domestic and international travel, complex calendars, and expenses), the candidate will make sure the CEO's operations run smoothly. Thus, the candidate should be detail oriented and a creative problem solver.
Hybrid:
Expect to be in the office when the CEO is in the office, up to 5 days/week. When traveling, which is frequent, this role is remote. Must have a 24/7 mentality.
Responsibilities:
- Calendar management - Coordinating complex schedules with executives within the organization and external executives utilizing a professional demeanor, with a solid ability to prioritize urgent matters.
- Manage domestic and international travel schedules (including managing the visa process).
- Act as a liaison both internally and externally, both with written and verbal communication, representing the CEO and, at times, the entire organization.
- Ability to seamlessly and consistently use discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment.
- Attend meetings with CEO, take notes, help create and manage action up items.
- Adaptability and ability to change course, when necessary, to meet the needs of the CEO and business.
- Utilize a high EQ to connect with colleagues and foster a positive office environment.
- Participate in or complete special projects as requested by the CEO.
- Assist with preparing the CEO for interview, press event, and speaking engagements.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years EA to C-level executives
- 4+ years in start-up
- 24/7 mentality
- Proactive and ability to take tasks off executive's hands
- Expert level in Google Suite
- Technically savvy
- Communication skills, written/verbal
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and keep information confidential
