Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Clinical Director to lead our clinical team at the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center. The Clinical Director will oversee all clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based treatment to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This role involves managing and supervising clinical staff, developing treatment protocols, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive clinical experience in addiction treatment, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and effective treatment environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs and services.
  2. Supervise and provide guidance to clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and support personnel.
  3. Ensure all clinical activities comply with regulatory standards and best practices in addiction treatment.
  4. Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and treatment protocols.
  5. Conduct regular staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to support staff development and ensure high-quality care.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
  7. Provide direct clinical services, including assessments, therapy, and crisis intervention, as needed.
  8. Collaborate with the administrative team to manage budgets, staffing, and resources for clinical services.
  9. Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and regulatory bodies.
  10. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all clinical activities and client interactions.
  11. Stay current with developments in addiction treatment and integrate new knowledge and techniques into clinical practice.


Qualifications:

  1. Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  2. Current licensure as a clinical professional (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the State of California.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in addiction treatment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  4. In-depth knowledge of addiction, co-occurring mental health disorders, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  5. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a clinical team.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, clients, and external partners.
  7. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and ensuring client confidentiality.
  9. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical documentation systems.
  10. Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities within the treatment center environment.
