Role Description:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Oracle Forms Specialist to join our team for a critical project within the financial service environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing database applications, with a focus on Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms. This role requires strong technical abilities and hands-on experience in designing and implementing database solutions that support complex business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions to support various applications and business needs.

Develop and maintain Oracle Forms applications to ensure seamless interaction with Oracle databases.

Collaborate with application teams to create optimal solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications.

Optimize and troubleshoot performance issues with PL/SQL code and Oracle Forms, ensuring efficient query execution and minimal system impact.

Write and maintain technical documentation related to PL/SQL development and Oracle Forms applications.

Support database upgrades and migrations, ensuring the integrity and performance of all database components.

Collaborate with DBA and infrastructure teams to ensure database stability and security.

Implement data validation, data integrity, and data quality mechanisms within applications.

Required Skills and Experience:

5+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Strong expertise in developing, maintaining, and debugging Oracle Forms applications.

Proven experience in creating efficient and scalable database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and triggers.

Hands-on experience with Oracle database version 11g or higher.

Strong knowledge of relational database principles, SQL optimization techniques, and data modeling.

Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with complex database architectures.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Oracle APEX and other Oracle tools is a plus.

Experience with Oracle Reports or other reporting tools.

Knowledge of cloud database platforms like Oracle Cloud or AWS RDS for Oracle.

Exposure to integration with other systems via APIs or web services.

Location:

Candidates should be based in Fort Mills, San Diego, or New Jersey.
