We are looking for a motivated and innovative Rubber Compounding Engineer who is proactive, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and can collaborate effectively with product development and business teams, as well as directly with customers, to launch new products in various markets and applications. This critical role involves leading the material development team in advancing our innovative materials.


🚀 About Your Role:

  • Collaborate with the business unit to align R&D priorities with customer needs and technical challenges.
  • Use advanced techniques to explore new rubber ingredients, fillers, and additives.
  • Enhance testing capabilities by working with product development, quality control, and research teams.
  • Design experiments to determine root causes of product issues.
  • Document your findings and provide clear recommendations based on your research.
  • Stay informed about advancements in rubber compounding, focusing on bio-based substitutes for petrochemical additives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


🔍 What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in materials science, polymer science, or a related discipline is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of prior industry experience in rubber compounding is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with rubber mixing using a two-roll mill is required.
  • Must have hands-on experience with rubber testing methods, such as tensile, abrasion, and fatigue tests.
  • Required hands-on laboratory chemistry skills, including titrations and solution preparation.
  • Proven ability to develop compounding alternatives to address product issues.
