Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Jacksonville, FL 32210. This is a 3 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Job Name: Phlebotomist I

Location : Jacksonville, FL 32210

Duration : 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Shift : Mon - Fri 7 am– 3 pm OR Mon – Fri 6:30 am – 2:30 pm OR 7:30 am– 3:30 am

Payrate : $16-18/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.


Note: On Bi-weekly Saturday’s possibly need to be at a different location


Job Details:

  • The Patient Services Representative I(PSR I) represent the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
  • The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
  • The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.


Job Responsibilities:

Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills to include paediatric and geriatric.

Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.


Job Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).


Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience.
  • One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
