This role will require effective cross-functional and collaborative team work to achieve results.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments
  • Manage budgets, set financial targets, and achieve divisional goals
  • Build relationships with clients and vendors and possess an entrepreneurial spirit for growing, managing, and developing new opportunities
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
  • Implement cost-saving strategies across construction and field operations
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company growth
  • Review scopes of work and contracts to ensure alignment with company standards and objectives
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely material availability and cost-efficiency
  • Negotiate subcontracts with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective solutions
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Report directly to the President, providing regular updates on performance and strategic direction


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in an operational/managerial role; painting/construction preferred
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Exceptional follow up and follow through on customer communications
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills with a highly strategic perspective to best position the company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Demonstratable experience in developing strategic and business plans
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
