We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in driving production quality and validating manufacturing processes in our facility.


Responsibilities

  • Champion quality within our manufacturing environment, with a focus on welding processes for new customer projects.
  • Be the go-to person for customers on product quality issues, improvement actions, and product/equipment qualifications.
  • Spearhead internal initiatives to exceed customer expectations and targets.
  • Maintain our Quality System through CAPA, audits, and complaint management.
  • Collaborate with product development on validation activities, SPC & data analysis, control plans, and PFMEA development.
  • Identify critical features during print and design reviews, implementing appropriate controls.
  • Ensure products meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead internal teams to effectively address quality concerns and customer issues.
  • Introduce and validate improvements in procedures, QA methodologies, tooling, and equipment.
  • Analyze returned products, conduct failure analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop sampling procedures to ensure quality and utilize data for improvement initiatives.
  • Lead problem-solving teams to identify issues and develop solutions.
  • Provide QA oversight on new and revised manufacturing processes within project teams.
  • Assist in creating and approving manufacturing procedures through process mapping.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, particularly for industrial products and welding environments.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer support for organizational quality.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship (now and in the future).
