We are seeking a Staff or Principal Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s technological future.

Role Overview

As a Staff or Principal Engineer, you will lead by example, bridging hands-on coding with strategic technical leadership. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, manage a high-performing engineering group, and contribute to building a scalable, secure, and robust platform. This is an opportunity for a dynamic leader with a passion for mentoring others while staying actively involved in software development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Leadership:
  • Design and implement scalable architecture, ensuring the platform supports current and future generative AI applications.
  • Hands-on Development:
  • Write and review code daily, focusing on high-quality, maintainable software.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Generative AI Expertise:
  • Integrate generative AI models into the platform, optimizing for performance, reliability, and compliance in the Fintech space.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and designers to deliver innovative Fintech solutions.
  • Technical Ownership:
  • Own the entire development lifecycle of key systems, from planning and design through to deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
  • 5+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years at product-led SaaS startups through Series B-E funding stages.
  • Proven experience managing teams while remaining actively involved in coding.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong programming skills in Python, React, or similar.
  • Familiarity with large-scale machine learning or generative AI systems.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
