We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Preconstruction Manager for one of our well reputable electrical subcontractor clients.


The Electrical Preconstruction Manager will play a key role in the preconstruction phase of electrical projects, working closely with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive and accurate project proposals and estimates.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preconstruction phase of electrical projects, including conceptual estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop innovative solutions.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for electrical projects.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and assess project scope and requirements.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and bids for electrical components and services.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential challenges and opportunities for value engineering.
  • Review and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams during the preconstruction phase.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [insert number] years of experience in electrical construction, with a focus on preconstruction and estimating.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
