Role Overview: Dune Security is seeking a talented and motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced cybersecurity professionals to develop and implement phishing simulation campaigns, create educational content, and contribute to our user-adaptive training modules. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI-powered employee risk management while working with cutting-edge technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Phishing Assets: Create convincing phishing assets for simulation campaigns, leveraging social engineering tactics to replicate real-world attack scenarios.
  • Produce Educational Content: Assist in scripting, producing, and editing educational cybersecurity videos that illustrate complex security concepts and best practices.
  • Enhance Training Modules: Contribute to the development and enhancement of user-adaptive training modules, tailoring content to address specific user behaviors and vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze Simulation Results: Examine the outcomes of phishing simulations to identify patterns, measure effectiveness, and provide insights for improving future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with cybersecurity experts, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and solutions.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity threats, techniques, and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, especially social engineering techniques and defenses against Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs).
  • Web Development Skills: Familiarity with HTML and CSS for creating and editing training module content.
  • Email Systems: Technical knowledge of email systems, including SMTP and related protocols.
  • Cloud Familiarity: Basic familiarity with AWS, specifically S3, for managing cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Video Editing: Basic knowledge of video editing software to assist in the production of educational content.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and creativity in designing realistic and engaging phishing assets.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
