Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist Controller with day-to-day accounting operations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering data into accounting software and spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Address inquiries and concerns from vendors and internal stakeholders regarding disbursements promptly and professionally
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions as well as assist in data analysis and auditing of accounting system files        ·        ·        
  • Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
  • Reviews billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.·  
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes        
  • Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations·        ·        
  • Assist in the creation of financial statements and annual reports.
  • Learn and understand company’s CRM system for data retrieval and analysis.
  • Provide occasional support to the company President.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Discussions involve confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify process improvements            ·        ·        
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Confidential Information of clients and of the company.

  • Experience with QuickBooks is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is required

Reports to Company Controller·        

 

Benefits: 

$20.00 - $25.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
