The opportunity
Altrad is currently in search of experienced Insulation Superintendents to become a vital part of our team at a prominent Construction Project situated in Kitimat, British Columbia – Canada. This is a tremendous opportunity for United States Citizens to mobilise on a 2 week on, 1 week off roster, gaining global experience on the biggest LNG Project in North America. As the Insulation Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the installation of insulation systems and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring that all insulation job sites are managed according to safety standards and the installation is completed on time and to the client's satisfaction. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have experience in managing projects from start to finish.
- Major LNG Facility located in Kitimat, British Columbia – Canada
- Flights will be provided from Houston TX contracted on a Full Time/Fixed-Term basis
- 2 Weeks on, 1 weeks off working 10 hours per day, 6 days per week
- Project accommodation provided with state-of-the-art facilities 10 minutes from Town Centre
- All flights, accommodation covered with benefits package on offer in addition to hourly rate
- Manage all facets of insulation construction projects, ensuring operations are completed within budget and on schedule
- Provide supervision to all personnel engaged in insulation construction, offering necessary technical assistance and guidance
- Conduct contract negotiations and resolve disputes with vendors and subcontractors
- Cultivate key relationships with Company management & support staff, Clients, Site operations & visitors
- Uphold and deliver high standards of work in alignment with Company Values to foster long-term success
Who do we want to hear from?
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Superintendent in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable environment leading Supervision
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Cryogenic Insulator; experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable
- Ability to pass Cryogenic Insulation VOC upon mobilisation to Site
- Must be a US Citizen inline with Temporary Work Permit required to enter and work in Canada
- The ability to follow procedures and work in a safety conscious manner is essential
- You will be required to complete and pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
