The MOM Engineer plays an essential role in the support of the development and support of MES/MOM and SCADA solutions.

This role drives and leads activities such as gathering, authoring, testing, implementation and use of MES/MOM systems.

A fundamental responsibility of the MOM Engineer is to collaborate effectively with the MES Manager, Solutions Architect, Client Account Executive, Project Manager, and Technical Lead, ensuring the support, development, delivery, and scalability of solutions are efficiently executed.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish standards for system functionality, quality, and design constraints to meet operational requirements.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, API documentation, and user manuals.
  • Design and implement new feature functionality as defined by product owner.
  • Guide the implementation of operating systems, network configurations, and software applications as part of the solution.
  • Provide training to users on system operation and maintenance.
  • Engage in ongoing maintenance activities, including software upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Perform code reviews and system analyses to ensure software functionality, stability, scalability, and security.
  • Deliver all assigned tasks on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in MES/MOM and SCADA to continually offer innovative solutions to clients.

Minimum qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in solution architecture, particularly with MES/MOM and SCADA systems.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and creative thinking for complex challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
  • Keen attention to detail with a focus on delivering fully functional and high-quality solutions.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
  • A driven, enthusiastic approach, with a commitment to success and quality.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Specialized certifications in areas like systems architecture and project management
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing or data center sectors.
  • Familiarity with specific industry challenges and best practices in MES/MOM and SCADA implementations.
  • Experience with cloud computing solutions, IoT integration, and modern software development methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on system optimization and efficiency.
  • Eagerness to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and client needs.
